Festive seasons always present the opportunity to show that “We Care”. The recent Deepavali celebration was no different when the President and CEO of Eurocopter Malaysia, Mr. Pierre Nardelli and staff showed that THEY CARE and be there for the needy.

A group of 30 staff from Eurocopter Malaysia brought festive cheers to the Agathians Shelter in Petaling Jaya on the 23rd of October where 33 homeless children resided.  A mouth watering spread of sumptuous food was prepared for this occasion and both children and guest equally indulged.

In his short speech, Mr. Nardelli congratulated Mr. Sivabalan, the Administrator of the home on his noble and commendable effort. Mr. Nardelli presented Mr. Siva with 5 gift vouchers for a joy ride on a Eurocopter Helicopter for 5 children for outstanding performance in school. This was followed by giving all the children Diwali gifts.

 The highlight of the day was when Mr. Banana, the clown made a grand entrance. The children were jumping up for joy and excitement and thoroughly enjoyed 2 hours of magic show and trickery by this very talented Mr. Banana.

It was truly a beautiful and heart warming sight to see the children smile and laugh. The group from Eurocopter Malaysia returned back feeling really satisfied that they managed to make a difference in the lives of the children, even if it was for just a day.
